Hailing from Shoal Harbour, Newfoundland, Andrew Best is an in-demand singer-songwriter and guitarist in the province’s music scene. Growing up, Andrew was always surrounded by music. He is a member of a musical family and participated in several sold-out shows in his hometown under the direction of Victoria Best, beginning his career as a performer at just 16 years old.

 

After moving to St. John’s to complete the Music Performance, Business, and Technology program at College of the North Atlantic in 2020, Andrew established himself amongst peers as a strong side musician. He has worked as a guitarist with renowned artists such as Ash Molloy, Jesse Hackett, Peter Vance, and Aubree Lambe. Alongside Lambe & Molloy, Andrew toured across the island with “The Eras Show - A Tribute to Taylor Swift” with several sold out venues.

 

 While he is an established side musician, Andrew has also been writing music since childhood, citing a fascination with creating things that previously ceased to exist.

 

Over his many years of experience, he has grown into an artist. In 2024, Andrew performed 129 shows, garnering a loyal and engaged following in the local music scene. With his remarkable guitar skills and dynamic songwriting, his upcoming solo venture as a rock artist is sure to be an exciting step in a new direction.
